Making Monday: Potatoes!!

We planted the potato plants in a little garden we made in our backyard.

Monster picked up this flower after volunteering with an art project and put it into a handmade bowl on our table. Hopefully, the water will keep it going for as long as we need it to.

Sanctuary

We have been at this hospital too many times this year. This time I left the waiting room to take a picture in the sanctuary. It was just what I needed.

Making Monday: Watercolor Crayon

Draw with crayon on white piece of paper. Paint on top of drawing with watercolors. Impress 1st and 2nd grade students. Encourage them to create something given the same tools.

New round of after school classes. Going really well so far. This young one has taken the class before. There may be duct tape crush going on.

Finished projects from the throwing class taken this winter.

Get help from friend with bike fixery skillz to make the brakes work, wheel straight, gears shift, and change out the seat for fear of tetanus.

Thoughts on Veganism

Monster:
1. Misses turkey sandwiches
2. Misses cheese
3. Misses being able to order normal things from most restaurants
4. Despite these things, has noticed that most foods taste better

Infinite:

4. Will most likely end up being a halfway vegan

Making Monday: Flowerbed

We placed logs around the outside of our flowerbed to help contain it. We will continue to post pictures as the growth continues.

Everyday Photos

Pretzel Fail

We tried making vegan chocolate covered pretzels, and failed pretty epically. The theory is that we let them cool for too long and they got stale that way, but we really don't know how they ended up so stale. If anyone has any suggestions we are all ears.
