Avocado - Palta

We are growing...


an avocado tree...in the winter...in Minnesota. One day, while riding the bus home from work, we missed our stop and ended up at the next one. At this stop, we found our roommate's brother. He gave us two avocados. One became guacamole. The other became an interesting toothpick induced balance in water. We shall inform you of the progress.

Making Monday: Pumpkin Bars



For Thanksgiving we make pumpkin spice bars, with cream cheese frosting. They were amazing...no really heaven like. I would like to think that it was because we made them using the pumpkin puree we made from the pumpkins I grew in the back yard this winter. Without the whole waiting for pumpkins to grow, it is a super easy recipe and super tasty.
